According to the Catlin Arctic Survey team, most of the current ice at the North Pole is of recent origin and is not very thick. These findings led the team to conclude that Arctic Ocean ice will melt quickly and that the North Pole will be mostly ice-free in summer in 10 years and completely ice-free in summer in 20 years.
So here’s my restoration proposition: we need geo-engineering projects ASAP to test the best way to increase the thickness of the ice.
And we need to design artificial islands for polar bears so that they won’t drown while swimming to find food.
