Beth’s Fiction

Over on blogger, I’ve posted a collection of short stories entitled Price of Silence. I’d love it if you checked it out, read a story or two, and maybe even decided to rework one per the Creative Commons license on the site.

In 1998, I published my first novel, Microgravity, a weird little book about the disintegration of a family after a murder. If you like experimental fiction or novels about obsession, this book will appeal to you. You can order it from Livingston Press at the University of West Alabama or by contacting me below.

“The inventive structure provides support for Partin’s investigation into cults and, more importantly, the workings of the mind.”

Hi Beth,
I just stumbled onto this site looking for the address of the Robert Frost building as I’m in the middle of moving in there and wanted to give it to someone. I’m a writer of uncommon fiction also living in Denver and wanted to introduce myself. I like your blog and I promise to order a copy of Microgravity soon as things settle down for me ; besides moving I’m playing a show at Wax Trax this Friday at 5 and having a release party for two new short fiction collections at Kilgore Books next door at 6. Please take a look at MightyMercury and let me know if you’d like the registration information. Can’t pay you anything yet, but you retain the copyright of anything sent and all contributors are encouraged to provide links out. Very best, Zack Kopp
