Have you driven across Lake Pontchartrain from NOLA to uhm, the otherside? It's long, and amazing. It's like driving over the ocean. I've not been to Fontainebleu but their website is pretty. I love Live Oaks (was married under one). Having grown up in CO its crazy to see trees in winter with their leaves on. Sorry to try to send you to Oak Alley. I didn't realize it was in the swamp.
